Andres Iniesta needs no introduction. He is one of the greatest midfielders ever and won everything there is to win in football in his decorated career, both with Barcelona and Spain.

The 31-year-old Argentine's impact on the pitch remains second to none and former teammate Iniesta was quick to heap praise on Messi. The former Barcelona midfielder expects Messi to keep on dominating games as he enjoys Messi's majestic displays despite not being part of the club anymore.

"I continue to enjoy his game. He is and remains an exceptional player who makes the difference. " Iniesta told DAZN in an interview as quoted by AS. "I have scores more goals than anyone else and still give a lot of assists. I can do whatever I want, as long as I want." 

The 34-year-old also spoke about Barcelona's goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who gave another powerful performance against bitter rivals Real Madrid.

"He is an extraordinary person," Iniesta continued. "We are always looking for a good relationship and Marc-Andre is a phenomenal guy. For me, he is definitely one of the best goalkeepers in the world.He plays a spectacular season and makes a very safe impression.""I have quick reflexes and instinctively almost always does everything right.He's also strong on the ball. I think his playing style will be the benchmark for the coming years. ", concluded the Spanish midfielder
