 Diego Maradona caused a serious stir with his comments on Colombia vs England.
"I saw a monumental theft," he bemoaned. "I apologise to all the Colombian people, but they must know the players are not to blame.
"It is the man who decides who the referee is who is to blame. A man like that (Geiger) should not be put in charge of a game of that magnitude.
And his comments were so controversial that FIFA even issued a statement about them, lamenting how such a legend of the game had let them down.
Then he officialy apologize FIFA And there President.

He penned: "Taken by the thrill of cheering for Colombia the other day, I said a few things and, I admit, some of them are unacceptable. My apologies to FIFA and its president.
