BREAKING: Arthur has confirmed in a press conference that he will be joining Barcelona:

Arthur: “I am realising a dream. I want to thank everyone. I also want to say that this is a ‘see you later’ and not a goodbye. I hope to come back one day. I have been here since I was 14 years old and I am glad to leave through the front door."

Arthur: “I heard so much about the club, the city, and the fans. I have very high expectations for my arrival in Barcelona.”

Arthur: “My trip to Barcelona will most probably be this weekend. I am very happy to wear the shirt of the club where I always dreamed of playing in. It’s the biggest club in the world."

Arthur: "I wanted to do this last press conference, for the love I have for the 'twistedness' of Gremio."

Arthur: "[Everything around] my departure has been transparent [to the two clubs], I'm very happy with how it went. My departure has been good for all parties."

Arthur: "Barcelona are the ones who advance my incorporation into their team to this summer. I didn't participate in the negotiations, nor directly in my transfer. It's all a matter between the two clubs."
