Xavi: It'd be no problem to coach Barca - I know what Messi, Suarez and Co. are like

Xavi: It'd be no problem to coach Barca - I know what Messi, Suarez and Co. are like The legendary former midfielder has been linked with replacing Ernesto Valverde in the Camp Nou hot seat after the club's disastrous form in La Liga Barcelona legend Xavi says he would be up to the challenge of managing former team-mates like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets at the club. “I don’t know if it will be a bridge to Barca,” he told Catalan newspaper  Ara . “The only thing that worries me now is doing well here, winning titles and making mistakes in some aspects to learn for the future. “It wouldn’t be a problem [to manage former team-mates]. I know what Leo is like, and Luis [Suarez], Busquets, Jordi [Alba], [Gerard] Pique or Sergi [Roberto]. “I know how they train, their capacity for leadership, I can tell if they are sad or angry. Lionel Messi's goal-per-game ratio is far superior to Cristiano Ronaldo's

They've been untouchable for over a decade now but all good things must come to an end, and it's likely the pair will be slowing down in the next few seasons. Juventus icon Ronaldo is now 34 years old, while Barcelona's star is 32 himself. Soon, it will be time for someone else to step up and fill the void that they'll leave. Over the course of their careers, both men have scored a ridiculous number of goals. Messi currently has 671 from 823 appearances, while his Portuguese rival has hit 695 goals from 966.  That's because even if Messi fails to score a goal in his next 109 games, he will still match Ronaldo's goal-per-game ratio. As it stands, the Juve forward has stats that look like this: 966 games - 695 goals = 0.72 goals-per-game. Barca's captain currently has: 823 Games - 671 Goals = 0.82 goals-per-game. #theballman

In a recent interview with journalist Piers Morgan for Britain's  ITV , Ronaldo touched on a host of topics, including the famous debate over who the better player between him and the Argentine is. "Messi's in the history of football," he told Morgan. "But I think I have to have six or seven or eight to be above him," he said, referring to Ballon d'Or awards. "I'd love it, I think I deserve it." The Portugal captain also explained that while he and Messi are not friends, their rivalry has pushed them to greater heights over the yeas. "My relationship with him is, we are not friends, but we have shared this stage for 15 years," Ronaldo added. "I know that he has pushed me to be a better player, and I have p
